The Moon travels around the Earth. The moon has a dark side which we never see. The Moon follows the Earth; it is called orbiting.
Neil Armstrong was the first person to land on the moon.This was in 1969. When Neil Armstrong first stepped out, he said: “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. Buzz Aldrin was the second person, as he went out straight after Neil Armstrong. Since then, 10 more people have walked on the moon.

Great work Retia – did you know the 3rd man – Michael Collins – who went to the moon with Neil Armstron and Buzz Aldrin had to stay in the ship to keep it moving and make sure he was able to pick the other 2 up on time! Pretty cool aye!
